The Hanged Man
Major Arcana · Neptune / Water
Upright
suspension, new perspective, surrender
Voluntary pause. Nothing moves, and the value is in the stillness: seen from upside down the situation reads differently. Do not force this one forward; the delay is doing the work.
Reversed
stalling, martyrdom, pointless sacrifice
The pause has gone on past its usefulness, or the sacrifice being made is buying nothing and is being performed for an audience.
